About JR

As a medical interpreter since February 2022, I’ve provided consecutive interpretation, simultaneous interpretation, and on-sight translation with patient, physician, and care team, including: Internal medicine, physical therapy, cardiology, disability, orthopaedic, initial consult, radiology, and pre- and post- surgery. My favorite part of interpreting is bringing the non-English speaker to the same level of understanding as the English-language speaker, making it possible for them to access and benefit from services to the same extent as other patients.
